DL; Jervise, Land of the Lindsays ..., p. 386, interprets DL as David Lindsay - presumably DL of Kinnettles (or of Pitairlie), who held part of Monikie, and spouse, presumably, who may have been an otherwise unknown Barbara Erskine.

[face 1] In memory of JAMES, son of DAVID SANDERSON, and his wife AGNES RIDDELL, who died 25th July 1875, aged 16 months. Also their son RICHARD, DICK, beloved husband of MARY LAIRD who was accidently killed at, Kingennie on 22nd September 1908 aged 30 years. Also of the above AGNES RIDDELL, who died 12th December 1908, aged 64 years. Also the said DAVID SANDERSON who died suddenly at Newbigging on the 11th April 1910 in his 63rd year. "In the midst of life we are in death." In loving memory of KATHLEEN W. S. RILEY beloved daughter of Dr and Mrs RILEY who died 12th Nov. 1915, aged 2 years and 10 months "There's a rest for little children."
[face 2] In memory of JAMES SANDERSON junr, Chief Engineer, who died on the Red Sea 23rd September 1876, aged 33 years. Also RICHARD SANDERSON, of the Australian Navy, drowned at Melbourne, 16th December 1877, aged 31 years. MARY DYCE KENNY, M.B.E., M.P.S., elder daughter of RICHARD and MARY SANDERSON, died in Malta on 24th May 1981. She served with distinction in the Metropolitan Police and for 25 years as a probation officer in Kenya. Dr. ANN RIDDELL SANDERSON, BSc. PhD. of Innervar, Monikie younger daughter of RICHARD and MARY SANDERSON died 8th April 2003 in her 98th year.
